The Quiet Life Ekta Beach Pants

Decorated with a distinctive monochrome print design, these Ekta Beach Pants from The Quiet Life are made from 100% cotton and have been created as part of a collaboration with EKTA artist Daniel Götesson. Cut to a relaxed fit through the legs, the waistband is elasticated with a drawstring that lets you resize the fit to suit with custom aglets and on either side of the waist open entrance pockets are available for storing essential items. Below on the left side stylised ‘Quiet Life’ lettering has been embroidered in brown whilst on the reverse a woven label has been positioned alongside an additional compartment. The legs have straight cut hems, allowing the fabric to be rolled.

Currently based in Gothenburg, Daniel Götesson is one of a few artists who have been selected by The Quiet Life this season to work on collaborative ranges of apparel and accessories. Known for working across numerous mediums, encompassing drawing, collage, painting, sculpture, textile, large wall works, animation, performance, installation, and music, Götesson’s work is characterized by a willingness to take bold risks, both in its literal sense as well as artistically. Recognisable through bursts of colour and abstract shapes, his ideas for TQL have brought a fresh look to everyday silhouettes such as trousers, sweatshirts and tees.
